Red Carpet Correspondent Ready: Preparing for the 12th Annual Latino Trendsetter Awards

Make-Up & Hair by EN EDRI

So as i posted before i was the Red Carpet Correspondent for the Latino Trendsetter Awards,We're all familiar with the red-carpet, but ever wondered what it takes to get ready for a big event?

Here are a few Celeb Red Carpet Prep: I think this list below just about covers nearly all of it. The process to look amazing on the Red Carpet can start as early as 2 months before - totally banana's right, but I think that many A-listers have so much going on that they go with quick fixes at least a week to 2 weeks prior to a major event. Thing is, you just can't cheat with exercise, no amount of laxative, pills or nutrients will transform your body...
  • Detoxifying or Slimming wraps, anything to get rid of a few inches.
  • Getting a 'Blow-Out' preferably at an A-listers Salon like most do in L.A, but me as a blogger i had the privilage to get my hair done by Hairstylist Eran Edri in a beautiful salon in the upper east side by the name of Francky L'Official.
  • A Facial - up to 1 month before a big event, Hollywood dermatologists get to work on celebs using a variety of non-invasive treatments, to smooth out the under-eye area and reduce crow's feet. One week before: 'LHA (lipohydroxy acid) peel on the face, chest, and back for smoother, tighter skin. OR having a pick-and-mix of popular quick-fix treatments, such as having lines and grooves filled with Restylane, Juviderm or Radius (depending on the location on the face), wrinkles zapped with Botox, and skin tightened with a minimally invasive chemical peel'. Oh and closer to 5 days before - major de-fuzzing action!
  • Celebs try to avoid stress breakouts, by staying away from white foods — dairy, sugar, white bread, pasta, and rice — all of which can aggravate acne. Other fitness experts say 'eat clean', so none of the above plus no wheat, no alcohol, or coffee 2 weeks prior to event.
  • Great Tip for preventative sagging neck measures: "Curl your tongue upward and press it against the roof of your mouth. Hold for five seconds. Repeat. Do this a few times throughout the day to help tighten the neck tissues and fight sagging."
  • One day before: Salon work - hair treatments, mani/pedi's.
  • Work on that pose! haha thats a must you don't want to look the same in every picture play with the change of hands.
  • 2/3 hours before celebs get in the car: make up, hair, dress! And there you go Red Carpet Ready.
Not that you have to follow all of these steps am just giving you a little insider of how the Celebrities do it. I did the Salon , mani & pedi a day before which i wore a pretty mango taffy color almost coral on my nails, then the same day of my Event i did hair and make-up and i work on my speech and poses 1 week ahead.

This is Natalie Edri my before look before she did my make-up

Discussing with your make-up artist about your dress, color and look is very important so when all is done you can see the theme or magic of what u were going for.
What i love about Natalie is that as she applied my make-up or any step she took she explain it to me incase i wanted to do it on my own or something went wrong i could reapply it to me that is a PLUS and so nice of her.

Of course on Social Media, always with my iphone in my hand lol.

My Look was Classy Edgy and Goddess Glam.

I was a little scare i must say since i have short hair and for the longest time my mom have always did my hair since she is a hairstylist also.
Eran was so nice and very attentive i knew he was going to create magic in my hair, i couldn't understand the braid or the piece of long hair extension.

He wrapped it all around the hair and the braid it look like those greek buns, i didn't show much emotions but i was so happy inside, never thought i could get something like this in my hair i was very please and excited.

Then he finish my look with soft glamorous curls i felt like i had the Hollywood effect just that i was in my fabulous Home, New York City.

Gorgeous isn't it.

Even Eran Was happy he knew he created magic in my hair. Ha Ha

Almost Done.
