HELLO JUNE

For most of us who live in seasonal States like me, we get excited when the month of june is here because we are looking forward for better hot sunny summer days.

Yesterday as we welcome the month of June i had a relax Sunday date checking out a new movie theater in my area. Paragon Theater is a movie and dinning experience which was pretty fabulous to do, movie date is one of my favorite things to do with my husband.

In Honor of June 1st Marilyn Monroe would have been 88 years old yesterday, so i wore one of my favorite shirts of her, so full of colors in memory of her birthday, what i love about this shirt is that the image on it is one of the most famous portraits that Andy Warhol created of this fabulous icon, I paired my shirt with my basic skinny white pants from KnowStyle accessorizing it with my caramel bow heels and Prada caramel bag with a gold and teal bracelet adding my M monogram necklace outside the shirt collar since her initials were M also.

Happy Birthday Marilyn Monroe, June 1, 1926
Died: August 5, 1962. She would have been 88 years old this year 2014.

Here are a few of my favorite Marilyn Monroe Quotes.

Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world.

I don't know who invented high heels, but all women owe him a lot.
is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.

Success makes so many people hate you. I wish it wasn't that way. It would be wonderful to enjoy success without seeing envy in the eyes of those around you.

What do I wear in bed? Why, Chanel No. 5, of course.

“Keep smiling, because life is a beautiful thing and there’s so much to smile about.”

“Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are.”

“I live to succeed, not to please you or anyone else.”

“It’s better to be unhappy alone than unhappy with someone.”

In the 1960s, Andy Warhol created several “mass-produced” images from photographs of celebrities such as this one of Marilyn Monroe.
